Literacy:
This week the children have been doing lots of writing. The Year 1 children have been continuing their story about their dragon and the Year2 children have been writing their report about the Great Fire of London.
Mathematics:
Both year groups have been looking at measurement this week and using a range of units of measurement. Year 1 children have been measuring in cubes or paperclips and the Year 2 children have been using centimetres and metres.
Foundation:
The children started their DT unit this week and looked at levers. They made a Jack in the Beanstalk lever and began to design their final product.
