Maths

It is very noticeable that we struggle a bit with our times tables. As such, we are going to have a focus on a particular times table a week. I would like you to practise your multiplication and division facts each day on that specific time table, and we will do so in class also.

This week, the times table focus is the 6 times table.

Here are some division questions for you to practise what we have done this week- maybe you could teach your parents our method!

As always, choose the level appropriate for how much you want to challenge yourself.

English

This week our focus has been on persuasive writing. I would like you to find something in your house that you want to 'sell' to me... and then produce a persuasive piece of work! This could be in the form of a poster, a tv or radio advert, a letter, whatever you like! Use the different techniques we have looked at, such as emotive language, rhetorical questions etc.
