Literacy:
This week we have continued to focus on Room on the Broom and have been learning how to write labels, lists and captions. We have spent lots of time learning about nouns and explaining what these are. Our Provision tasks have also been based on Room on the Broom and we have had lots of fun building monsters to scare away the dragon!
Maths:
In Maths, Year 2 have been exploring place value grids and and have been using the Base 10 to create different 2-digit numbers. In Year 1, we have been carrying on our focus on place value and have been making tens frames.
Topic:
We have been completing our History topic and have been thinking about the way technology has changed how we are entertained. We have discussed how TV, computers and games consoles have all changed and evolved over the last 60 years.
