This week saw Year 6 take on the dreaded division! Although they struggled at first, to their credit the children have persevered and are starting to become far more consistent with it, a very admirable achievement considering how challenging and tricky the numbers can be !
Our writing focus has turned to persuasion and adverts. The children had the opportunity to sell a chair in the form of a TV advert, and they did an incredible job! I was very impressed with their attempts, and much hilarity ensued.
In Topic we looked at biomes and had a debate on what the best biome is! There wasn't a clear winner of course, but the children argued their points well.
