Literacy:
This week we have continued to learn and write about dragons. The Year 2 children wrote wrote mini reports with facts including how to feed a dragon, 2 cows a day, how to exercise a dragon, plenty of fire proof poo bags, and the fact that dragons have 3 stomachs. The Year 1 children have been writing descriptive sentences about Zog.
Mathematics:
This week the children have continued to look at multiplication and counting in 2s and 10s. The Year 2 children have been building arrays and writing the number sentences to match. The Year 1 children have been applying their 10 count knowledge.
Foundation:
This week the children have been discussing what geography is and talking about the four seasons. They have also been investigating the different types of weather each season has and how some weather happens in all the seasons.
