This week has really seen Ash class showcase their artistic skills. We have looked at the designer Laura Ashley- and was inspired to create our own design. We later applied this to learning about Ancient Greek Art- designing out own Laura Ashley style belts for a toga. We also applied these ideas to Greek Pots. Don't they look great?
In Literacy, we have book looking at the character of Medusa. We have thought a lot about her personality and appearance and wrote some lovely character descriptions.
In Maths, we continued to develop our understanding of formal written methods for addition.
This week we have heavily focused on partitioning. An example of this is below for the calculation 576+199
