This Week in Fir Class...
The class said their goodbyes to the lovely Miss Allam on Tuesday. Miss Turner has been in this week to get to know the class and the children are very excited to be having her teach them on Monday and Tuesdays for the rest of the school year!
This week Fir Class started their new DT project, which will be designing and making a bird hide. We were supposed to have our Year 5 Sports Day on Wednesday afternoon, but sadly the weather had other plans that day... We managed to do a few races on Thursday and, all going well, will go full steam ahead next week.
Finally, the class have started their SRE topic this week! I know this is a topic several of the children awaited with trepidation, but I have been blown away at the maturity the whole class has shown during our sessions - well done Fir Class, you’re nearly there!
