Literacy:
This week we have been planning our recount letters. We have been writing in the 1st person, past tense and have thought about what Little Red Riding Hood would tell her friends about her encounter with the wolf.
Maths:
Year 1 have been finding fact families and have been writing different addition and subtraction calculations.
Year 2 have started their Shape topic and have been identifying 2D shapes. We have used lolly sticks to create our own 2D shapes.
Topic:
This week we have started our Computing unit. We have thought about what we mean by 'Technology' and have labelled examples in the classroom and surrounding learning areas.
Busy Learning:
Our Busy Learning tasks have centered around Little Red Riding Hood. In Block and Lego we have created obstacle courses to slow the wolf down. We have also been very busy practising for our Nativity and Carol concerts next week.
