This week in Fir Class...
The sunny weather this week has meant that we got to have lots of fun with our learning outside this week, which was wonderful.
In Maths, we have been revising and applying our division skills. Please see some pictures below of the children completing a division treasure hunt outside.
Our Literacy lessons have been based around newspaper reports. The children have been using the events from a classic poem and building a newspaper report around it. They incorporated their drama skills into Literacy this week, using hot-seating to interview various characters or 'witnesses' from the poem.
The class have thrown themselves into preparations for our production. Most have been working hard to get into character and learn the class song. It will be full steam ahead next week in readiness for our performance.
