Thank you for visiting our website. I hope it will enable you to find the information you are looking for, as well as giving you a real insight into what a happy place of learning Manea Community Primary School is. We look forward to hearing what you think!
Manea Primary is a community school which caters for children from 4 to 11 years old. There is also Manea Pre School attached to the school which takes children from the age of 3 and is governed by the school’s governing body. We were delighted when our Ofsted Inspectors agreed with our school self evaluation and saw the progress our school has made judging it to be a good school with outstanding early years.
The school plays an important part of Manea village celebrations and is steeped in local history. The school buildings are a good mix of old and new - older Victorian buildings, and a recently newly opened section with a hall, several other classrooms and additional facilities. As a consequence, we really do have plenty of space for all our children both inside and outside to enable them to enjoy their learning in our well-equipped classrooms and attractive outdoor learning areas.
The school is filled with wonderful displays and lots of children's work to celebrate their achievements. The children that attend Manea Community Primary School are proud of their school and enjoy talking about their learning.
We promote the "forest schools’ initiatives" which is an inspirational process that allows the children opportunities to achieve confidence and self-esteem through hands on learning experiences in our local woodland or natural environment. Our grounds are exceptionally attractive and back onto farmlands and woodlands. You will see lots of exciting outdoor learning on our field and immediate areas near the classrooms.
