Spelling

 

Now that our spellings are a little harder. I would like you to think about how you learn them. Remember to look at what the words look like as this really helps.

 

Perhaps you could play Hangman with someone in your house hold?  Could you make some flashcards to help you remember them? 

 

 

Remember to only use the hot spellings if you test at home and get every spicy one correct!

Medium: Can you think of and write a sentence for 5 of your spelling words? 

 

 

Spicy/Hot

 

Interview a family member. Write down some questions that you ask and write their responses!

 

To challenge yourself further you can write your interview up using speech marks.

Maths

 

Medium: This week I want you to use some small items you can count at home.  this could be stones found in your garden or even tome pieces of cereal!

 

With a family member can you find half of a number using your items to help? Can you find one quarter? 

 

 

Spicy/Hot

 

Spicy: attempt the two star challenge. If this is too hard use the one star questions.

 

Hot: attempt the three star questions.
