Activities:

  • Read the story with your grown up – what did you like best?  Why?  Have you ever found a bug? What bugs do you like?
  • Listen to the hungry caterpillar story on you tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75NQK-Sm1YY – can you remember the things that the caterpillar ate?  Can you draw them?
  • Go on www.ictgames, counting caterpillar game – choose 0 as the lowest number and 20 as the highest – then order the selected numbers on the leaf – watch what happens if you get them right – you might see some bugs!
  • Go on a bug hunt in your garden – what do you see?  Write a list of bugs that you see using your sounds and then create some sentences…. I can see a…… and a …….   I like the …. Best
