Homework
Literacy:
This week Year 2 have been independently writing their thank you letters to Johnson's Farm. We have thought about using formal language, descriptive words and including a range of questions. Year 1 have been learning about information texts and their features. They have read a focus text, All About Elephants.
Maths:
Year 1 have been working on sharing equally and have been using the Compare Bears in the outside learning environment. Year 2 have been working on telling the time and have been reading o'clock, half past and quarter past/quarter to times.
Foundation:
We have started to learn all about animals and their habitats. We have looked at a variety of habitats and sorted animals according to where they live. Year 2 have also thought about how these animals are adapted to their environments.
