Welcome Back!
We have had a wonderful start back this week. The children have enjoyed getting to know their new classes and have wowed us with their great attitude to their learning.
Literacy
In literacy we have been writing recounts about our summer holiday and the children have enjoyed sharing their summer adventures.
Maths
In maths this week we have been working on our place value skills. The children have been counting within 20, building and drawing teen numbers and practicing their partitioning skills using part, part, whole models.
PSHE
In PSHE this week we have been thinking about how we can be kind and thoughtful towards each other. Both in the classroom and online. We have discussed the importance of using kind words, including our friends when busy learning and sharing. The children also showed a good understanding of staying safe online.
