17.1.22

This week we have been finding out about a new Percy story.  'Percy's Bumpy Ride'.  We really enjoyed the story and had lots of ideas about what Percy could have been making in the shed.  This information will then be used to help us in our construction work.  We have also learnt new words - such as emerge and admire.

In our literacy we have learned new sounds and are using these in our reading and writing.  We have also been developing our handwriting skills, forming letters correctly and using this information to write words.

In maths we have continued with our ordering skills and enjoyed playing guess my number.

We have been continuing with creating bird feeders and planting bulbs in our forest school work which was very enjoyable and we learned lots that we can share with Percy!  We were very lucky as mole had already dug some holes for us as the rest of the ground was quite icy.

Don't forget to look at our home learning page which will give you lots more information and ways to support at home.  We have also added a phonic information page to our main class page which you may find useful.

If you require any further information about our learning or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Stevens on pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk.
