A busy week in Reception. We have been developing our counting skills and also our shape awareness, learning songs and creating pictures. We have also worked hard on our number song. In our phonics we have been learning two new sounds, s and a. We have also been working on our new reading scheme - learning the characters and beginning to recognise their names.
We have created lots of Farmer Duck challenges - see the photos above for a selection of them!
In our forest school we have worked very hard using our knowledge of the Farmer Duck story. We have used our class forest school area to create wonderful meals to help keep farmer duck healthy. Look at the pictures above showing our wonderful work.
