W/C 7th September
It has been a brilliant first week back for Fir Class this week. They have adapted to the changes in the classroom environment well and have enjoyed catching up with their peers.
This week’s focus text has been ‘Here We Are’ by Oliver Jeffers. To accompany this we have written nature poetry, painted skylines and explored reasons why our world is changing.
‘Kindness’ has also been a theme of the week this week. We have worked on the importance of kindness and each written something kind about each member of our class. We will be sharing these comments in class over the next two weeks. So far, it has been lovely to hear the wonderful things they have to say about one another.
On Thursday, the class performed short skits demonstrating their understanding of what it is to be considerate. They all did a great job and I can already see some budding actors emerging!!
