13.3.23

This week were are finding all about patterns.  We are able to discuss what we see in a pattern, what we notice and then discuss how we can continue the pattern.  We have been using our drawing, shapes and loose parts to create our own patterns.

In literacy we have been using our keywords and sounds in words to write our diaries.  We have become very confident with our first keywords and are now moving to the next!

We are also foraging this week in creating our own dragon stew.  We have loved using the mud and flowers to create cakes and pizzas and finding out other resources that we can use.

In our learning walk we are focusing on creating for Sir Gadabout who is feeling much better but still needs to be looked after.  Princess Pearl has sent us some puppets to create our very own stories.

Please see the home link information attached to support learning at home and if you have any questions please email:

In our busy learning challenges we have created for Sir Gadabout and Zog - some super examples this week are below:  see a wonderful lolly and dragon, cutting skills, a house with baby dragons in it and a home for all the characters and their friends!

We came up with some wonderful ideas in our learning walk this week in order to keep helping the characters from our favourite stories.
