Timetable for reception children on lockdown

Tasks to complete each day:

2 phonic activities – taken from the start of the overview, from the home learning pack or repeat some from previous weeks (15/20 minutes) |
|
2 maths activities– taken from the start of the overview, from the home learning pack or repeat some from previous weeks (15/20 minutes) |
|
Keyword recognition (10 minutes)
|
|
Reading a book – this can be our class focus text or a ‘scheme’ book from the Oxford reading tree (15 minutes)
|
|
Be active – use our yoga session, Jo wicks or go out for a walk (30 minutes)
|
|
Daily challenges set by Mrs Stevens – see the videos each day to organise these. (30+ minutes)
|
Reception children tend to work best if these are be split into short sessions throughout the day as we would at school, some adult led time and also some time within this sessions to investigate independently. If you have additional time that you would like to fill then there are the additional daily tasks at the end of the overview.
Don’t forget to send over some photographs or an email about the work you have completed each week.
