Our History lessons at the moment are all leading up to us answering the question- 'Would you rather be a child now or in Ancient Greece?'. This week, we worked in groups to research different aspects of Ancient Greek childhood. Some of our groups included: food, toys and games, medicines, clothes, homes and family and slavery. We then presented our findings to the rest of the class.
This week our Maths lessons have been heavily focussed around learning our six times table and applying this to a range of problems. On Thursday, we measured different items in the playground. We then had to multiply this by six as we learnt that a giant would use our playground that was six times taller than us. To solve these problems we were introduced to a new method- the grid method!
