Literacy:
This week in Literacy the children have been learning how to orally retell the story of The Gingerbread Man. They have worked hard all week to learn actions and the sequence of the story and by Friday they were word perfect! If you ask nicely they might give you a little performance.
Maths:
In maths this week the children have moved on to working with money. They have been looking at both coins and notes and have discussed how each coin and note are worth a different amount.
Foundation:
This week in foundation the children have been carrying on with their Science and thinking about how plants stay alive, how different plants have different needs and how plants have a life cycle. The children have also been naming the different parts of a plant and the role each part plays in keeping the plant healthy.
