Our shape hunts - What shapes can you see?
This week we are finding out about shapes. We have been guessing the hidden shape in our shape bag, we have been looking for shapes all around us. We have also then created shape pictures and played shape dominoes. Did you know that a triangle is a triangle because it has three sides and three points?
In our literacy we have found out about Kipper - he is a new character in our reading books. He has a brother called Chip and a sister called Biff. They have a wonderful dog called Floppy who can be very naughty! Kipper has a favourite toy it is his teddy - we have been recording our own favourite toys and listening to the initial sound in words. We have read some stories and are looking forward to finding out even more about them.
