Literacy:
This week we have planned and written a set of instructions on how to look after a storm whale. We use a planning frame to structure our ideas, the independently wrote out our instructions. We thought really carefully about our handwriting and how to present our work neatly. We are all really proud of how hard we have tried!
Maths:
Elm and Cherry class have been completing their PUMA assessments this week. They have also been comparing heights and finding the tallest/shortest.
Beech class have been exploring mass and reading scales to the nearest g and kg.
Topic:
This week we have continued our Geography topic, which is comparing where we live with the city of Tulum in Mexico. As part of this unit, we have had Mexico Day on Thursday, where all of our lessons were centered around learning about Mexico. We even enjoyed learning a traditional Mexican dance.
