WC 7/9/20

Wow! Week one of our journey in Beech Class is almost over. We have had a busy week. We have really enjoyed being back at school and seeing each other again and getting started with some brand new Year Two learning!

We have been making sure to wash our hands lots and lots and we are all now expert hand washers!

We have been reading the book ‘Here We Are’ by Oliver Jeffers. We noticed that in the book it said that we are responsible for taking care of other living things and each other so we decided to make some bird feeders to hang outside.

We have been thinking about what makes us good learners and writing notes about this to help others. We have decided that good learners never give up, always aim high, persevere and know how to work as part of a team.

Keep an eye on this page over the coming months to see all of our amazing learning!

We have also been learning about our tens and ones in maths. We have been enjoying building numbers outdoors and have really challenged ourselves to explain our thinking!

We can’t wait for some more learning to come next week! We are all looking forward to wearing our PE kits on Monday and Thursday and we can’t wait to have a go at some fun PE games outside!
