Our first week at school!
What a busy week - we have been learning about fairy tales and discussing our favourite parts of each story. In our maths work we have been learning number rhymes and having lots of fun saying them. In phonics it has been all about listening. We have been finding out about how important it is to listen and carried out lots of listening activities involving musical instruments and songs.
Our other main learning has been to create our very own self-portraits. We have looked carefully at the shape of our faces, the colour of our eyes and our hair, then used the correct paints to represent these. We have also been extra busy in exploring our new environments, learning routines and expectations and working with our friends.
