Literacy:
This week we have written our own versions of the Three Billy Goats Gruff traditional tale. We started by looking at the features of a traditional tale and then chose our own animals to cross the bridge. We have worked hard to write in our best handwriting and include lots of descriptive phrases.
Maths:
In Beech class we have finished our multiplication and division topic and have worked on using numberlines to help us divide.
In Elm and Cherry classes we have been finding fact families and using related facts within 20.
Topic:
Our topic this week has been DT. We have designed our own wheeled vehicles and then built these during our DT Day. We cut joins, attached axels, and wheels, then tested our cars by racing them across the carpet.
