WB 12.07.21

We are almost there! The children are certainly getting excited for their summer holiday and are looking forward to a well deserved rest.

This week, we have loved our combined Literacy and DT lessons, where we planned and made our own healthy fruit yoghurts. We worked with Mrs Goude to carefully prepare our chosen fruits, before adding them to our choice of yoghurt and giving it all a good mix. After that, we worked with Mrs Biggs to plan and write instructions for making the yoghurts, using numbers, time words and bossy imperative verbs!

In Maths, we have been practising our money skills and Mrs Johnson is very impressed with the progress we have made across the week. The Year 2 children have been learning how to give change, while the Year 1s have focused more on recognising the different coins and making small amounts.

There is no set homework this week, but the children have really enjoyed playing the following game in our continuous provision if you'd like to have another go at home...

Four days to go!

We hope you all have a super, sunny weekend and will see you on Monday.
