Maths
This week the class have been learning to scale numbers. One of the ways they did this was to adjust the quantities of ingredients for a recipe. At some point this half term, I would like you to scale a recipe again, to make the correct amount for you. E.g. If I was following a recipe that serves 12 people and I wanted mine to serve 4 people, I would make my quantities three times smaller, by dividing by 3.
If you wanted to actually make the dish, you could see in practise whether your scaling of the ingredients has worked! However, the final part is optional.
Reading
This week I would like you to write a book review of 'Trucker', our class text in Guided Reading. You can lay the review out however you like, or print off the example sheet I have attached below. If you did not read 'Truckers' you can write a review of a book you have read recently instead.
