Literacy:
This week we have explored and planned Wanted posters. On Thursday, we wrote our posters based around a missing item, which we would like Hermelin: Mouse Detective to find. We included expanded noun phrases and even tried writing rhetorical questions.
Maths:
Elm and Cherry have been exploring numbers to 20 and have had lots of fun representing numbers in different ways.
Beech class have continued their work on money and have worked very hard at using number lines to find change.
Topic:
Our Topic this week has been Science. We have been thinking about different living things and how they are suited to their habitats. We wrote fact files about camels and polar bears and described the features which help them survive in their habitat. We have also created food chains.
