L.O. To translate a shape accurately.
Translating a shape means to move it (effectively, slide it) from one place to another. Sometimes this is done on a grid, but you will not be doing that today. Watch the video attached for a more detailed explanation of what you will need to do.
Activity - On your worksheet you will find shapes with a direction. Use the key to help you. Make sure you follow the direction for each vertices (corner) of the shape.
Extension - Try some of your own. The more complex the shape, the trickier the challenge.
