This week we have been set a challenge from Baby Bear. He is not starting school yet and wants to find out as much as he can before he goes. He has asked us to share some of our busy learning with him so that he is ready. We then went into our outdoor provision and discussed what different things we could do to show him. We had some amazing ideas!
We made 'a story for baby bear in the trike track, a new house in the bricks, a beach in the sand, a painting of Daddy Bear, Mummy Bear and Baby Bear, some perfume, a picnic and even a potion to help Baby Bear fly to the moon! Have a look at the photos below...
IN OTHER NEWS....
we have been developing our ability to write our names using correct pencil control and also learning about how each letter is correctly formed. We have also been investigating the 3 bears toolkit and ordering objects according to size. We have explored many different rhymes and then continued with our hard work on listening hard and working together.
In our movement session we continued with listening carefully and different ways of moving and then decided that we would retell the story of Goldilocks. It was great fun!
