In our learning walk this week we came up with some wonderful ideas to support our learning about Elmer.
The hedgehogs decided that they would make a hotel for Elmer with a restaurant inside, a birthday cake for Wilbur and some hot chocolate to keep them all warm. The foxes said that they were going to make a rainbow house as well as a jungle train so that the other elephants could visit them. The Robin group said that they wanted to build a rocket house so that the jungle creatures could explore the moon and a wonderful 6 layer cake in the forest school area. Finally the squirrels decided to make some delicious food for Elmer, some spaghetti bolognaise, fish and chips and also cupcakes! What a wonderful learning walk!
In other learning we have found out about a new sound and also a new process in maths - sharing!
Our new story, Grandad Eldo, has helped us find out about a new character and Grandpa Eldo has also sent us some wonderful objects to investigate, apparently they are from when he was young!
We have worked very hard and please see the home link document attached to develop this learning further at home.
