L.O To be able to use shapes to repeat patterns.
Some shapes can be repeated and fit together exactly. This is called a regular tessellation. <<<
Sometimes two or more shapes are used to complete a pattern, but still fit together exactly. This is a semi-regular tessellation.
Activity
Make either a regular or a semi-regular tessellation of your own. You will need to make a stencil of the shapes and some plain paper to draw these on. There are plenty of examples online to help you. Once you have made the tessellations, see how eye-catching you can make it with pops of colour.
