Week beginning 8th March 2021
Yes! We're back! It was lovely to see all the children back on Monday. The children have had a great week in Fir class, and have really tried hard to get back into their learning. Well done to you all!
In our learning this week, we have been remembering our fraction work and our knowledge of angles in Maths. We have been looking at discursive texts in Literacy and we have started to design our own tartan in Art, to relate to our history topic of Anglo-Saxons.
In our wellbeing sessions, we have been looking at 'The failed project' book. This is about a toy who was not perfect enough to be sold. However, after determination and support from his friends, he managed to prove others wrong. We discussed that nobody is perfect, but if we use PARTY, we will always be able to succeed in what we do. We then designed our own failed project. See below for some of our pictures.
