Literacy:
This week we have all written our own non-chronological reports about woodland creatures. We have created titles, written subheadings and written in full sentences. We have all structured our work very well!
Maths:
Year 2 have been subtracting two digit numbers, using Base 10 and other written methods. We have been learning about regrouping tens to help us subtract across a 10.

Topic:
This week we have started our DT topic and have been learning all about freestanding structures. We have explored the school grounds to look for structures and have even made our own structures using recycled materials. Thank you to everyone who donated recycling for our projects!
Busy Learning:
This week our Busy Learning challenges have all been based around Little Red Riding Hood. We have used the Lego and wooden blocks to create Grandma's Cottage and have also made shelters for Red to hide in.
