Literacy Homework

 

This week we have been learning about non-fiction texts. 

For your homework, we would like you to share some facts about something that you know lots about. 

You might know lots about an animal, a sport or a country… or something else! 

You can record your information in any way that you like. You might make a poster, write a list of facts or record a video! 

 

We are excited to see your work and to learn some new things from you!

Maths Homework

 

This week, we have been learning about fractions. We found out that the denominator (the number at the bottom of the fraction) shows us how many parts the shape or amount has been split into. The numerator (the number at the top of the fraction) shows us how many of those parts we need to count. 

 

Your homework this week is an online Maths challenge, all about matching fractions which are the same, or equivalent. We'd really like you to have a go at Level 1 and Level 2, but you can go even further if you like! Choose the fractions that match, and put them on the scales.
