Watch the lesson below and look at how I have written a setting description. Then have a go at writing your own. Remember, to use expanded noun phrases, relative clauses and pronouns, model verbs, parenthesis and fronted adverbials.

Inferences mean looking at clues to find the answer. So a detective would look at clues at the crime scene to work out 'who did it'. Look at the picture on the slide below and use clues in the picture to answer the questions. Complete the table below to show which clues you used:
