During our learning walks this week we have focused on the block area. We have made a shelter with a heater to keep the dragons warm, a pirate ship to travel to dragon island and then a caravan to help the dragons move around to investigate. We have worked very hard by listening to our friends and helping each other to solve the problems that arose.
In the rest of our learning this week we have been investigating new sounds, developing our awareness of doubling in maths and also finding out about Mary Anning - a lady who finds lots of fossils! We have been been investigating our very own fossils and discussing what we notice.
We have also extended our thinking in our castle work and we have created wonderful drawbridges. We worked as a team, listened to each other and some drawbridges had one string, two string or even four! We then worked out how we could ensure it was safe and worked properly!
One other very exciting aspect that we have been working on this week is our class assembly. We are very proud of our hard work on learning the story - All afloat on Noah's Boat. We hope you all enjoyed it and also exploring our work in books! Haven't we worked hard?
