WB 23.03.21

And so, after just fourteen days back at school, we find ourselves at the start of the Easter holidays! What a funny old year it is turning out to be.

The children have been hard at work this week on a variety of different activities. In Maths, alongside completing a range of whole-class problem solving activities, we have been working through our end of term assessments so that we can see where our strengths and areas for development are, in preparation for the Summer term.

In Literacy, we have loved planning our own Naughty Bus stories and starting to write them. In our 'Further Adventures of the Naughty Bus' stories, the Naughty Bus has been causing more mischief in a variety of ways, including sneaking downstairs and eating all the food in the fridge, ordering takeaways and heading outside to make lots of mess in muddy puddles!

We have also enjoyed making some very cute Easter cards for our loved ones at home, as well as making our own 'well-behaved vehicles' in our DT sessions. We worked really well in our pairs and small groups, and produced some fabulous vehicles with working wheels and axles. Have a look at this week's gallery to see some of our models!

Have a wonderful Easter everybody, and we look forward to seeing you after the holidays.
