This week we have been extremely busy. We have worked hard on our rhymes, learning lots of new rhymes and activities. In our maths work we have been learning the language of size and weight.
We have continued with our Foggy, Foggy Forest work, extending our thinking about the characters across all our activities. Outside we have made wonderful creating using all the environment and discussed our thinking with our friends.
Our other work has involved exploring texture. Jack had collected some items from the giant's house (in Jack and the Beanstalk) and we had to explore them using touch. We then talked about the different words that we could use to describe the words. We then worked in small groups to discuss and share our thinking. Lots of wonderful words came out and we all chose our favourite object to share with Jack.
What a wonderful week!
