Week Beginning: 7th June 2021
Our first week back...
It has been lovely to see the children return from their half-term holiday refreshed and ready to learn. There have been two new recent additions to Ash Class and the children have been welcoming and friendly and we hope both of them have settled in well and are happy. We have started off this half-term by focusing on grammar in literacy. We have studied the past tense - the simple past, the past perfect and the past continuous. The children have practised writing sentences in each of these forms. In maths, we have continued with graph work and then moved on to word problems. As usual, the children have enjoyed their topic work, especially P.E - despite it being incredibly hot outside! It is lovely to see them back and we look forward to a pleasant, final few weeks of the summer term.
