L.O. To solve a Maths Problem.
This week will largely be based on problem solving, brushing up on the maths skills you already have.
Today you need to help the caretaker (we'll say Mr Robinson) solve his problem. He has to plant five rows of 10 trees, but each row can only contain 4 trees. This sounds very confusing, so try not to think of it as straight lines of rows, but rows which might interlink in places and create 'new' rows. This could potentially be investigated outside, or for ease you can use objects such as cubes or lego to represent the trees indoors.
The solution can be found on Tuesday's Maths page, but try not to peep before having a good try first!
