Literacy:
This week we have continued to learn about subjects, verbs and the 'leftovers'. We have been writing our own sentences and labelling each part.
Maths:
Year 1 have been looking at addition and using part-whole models, They have also written their own number sentences and fact families. Year 2 have also been exploring addition and have been completing number sentences based on picture representations.
Topic:
We have completed our Art block topic by having a mini art gallery for the children to celebrate their work. They have shared their favourite pieces and explained why they liked them.
Busy Learning:
Our Busy Learning has centered around the Julia Donaldson book, Monkey Puzzle. The children have made mazes and a communication device for Baby Monkey to use. We also loved performing our Harvest songs and poems for our families.
