As you may be aware we all painted portraits of the Queen for the Manea Gala this year and the art competition.  All entries were amazing and it was a very difficult job to find winners but we had a first, second and third place winners - see below!  The winning entries will be displayed in our school near the felt work that we did to celebrate the jubilee.  Well done everyone.

One of our last 'incredibly difficult pirate challenges' was to read a map!  It had been left by the pirates to say thank you for finding their hats on pirate day.  After lots of discussion we decided where we had to go - then off we went!  We found treasure - a remote control car for us to use in our outdoor area!

Our last week in Reception.....

Well what an amazing year we have had.  Lots of learning together and lots of fun!  We have been very impressed with all the hard work that the children have done and all the support that the parents have given us.  Thank you all!

This week we will be completing the final 'incredibly difficult pirate challenges' which will involve phonics and maths, creating and discussing.

Please continue with the work that the children have been doing this year over the long holiday, support them in remembering their phonic sounds, keywords, number and problem solving as well as having lots of wonderful adventures with family!  We will look forward to hearing all about it when we return.

Thank you again.  From all the reception team.
