LO: Plan a non-chronological report
You are going to be writing a non-chronological report on a planet/ planets of your choice. You could choose to focus on just one planet, or do several planets in the solar system- that’s entirely up to you!
Today you need to plan it. What you need to think about:
Title
Introduction
Your 3 subheadings and what the key points will be in each
Conclusion
If you choose to do the solar system, you’ve just got to choose 3 planets to write about for your 3 topics.
If you choose a specific planet, you need to choose 3 categories to write about in relation to the planet. What could they be? Let’s apply the skills we looked at yesterday into reading texts over the course of the week.
Reading
Read ‘Raider’s Peril’ and complete the questions
Topic
L.O. Evaluate a product
Today I want you to write an evaluation for your meal. Use your notes from yesterday to write a more detailed evaluation.- 15-20 minutes of reading a day

Mrs Wordsmith- dazzling
Have a look through the attached PowerPoint. Much like in class, see if you can work out the missing words and then practise using the word in sentences. Maybe try using it in a sentence with a semi-colon or in a De:de sentence.
Furthermore, see if you can use it in this week’s writing tasks!
Oracy
My class assembly this week gives you a daily dose of philosophical thinking, so make sure you are watching these each day!
