Our Nocturnal animal investigations during our forest school session
This week we have been very busy continuing our work with 'Fairy Tale Pets'. We have been helping to keep the pets heathy and enjoyed a pet themed yoga session. In our busy learning our challenges have been to solve problems to help the pets and to retell fairy tales with our friends, including in our scooter area we have really enjoyed retelling the 3 little pig story!
In our literacy we are investigating new sound and then applying them to our reading and writing.
In our maths we are also working on ordering events that happen in the night time and in the day time as well as finding about the number 4.
We are finding out about nocturnal animals, using Owl Babies as our focus text and we are also developing our creative experience by using rolling and cutting skills to create some nightime stars.
