Literacy:
The Year 1 children started a new text this week about Mary Anning. They have worked hard to complete comprehension questions about what they have read. The Year 2 children applied their new found rhyming skills and created a list poem about a dragon.
Mathematics:
The Year 1 children have been applying their addition understanding to solving word problems and have been solving missing number puzzles. The Year 2 children have been continuing with their measurement topic and this week looked at mass and the units of measure we use to measure mass.
Foundation:
The children evaluated their finished product this week. They have worked really hard on creating a complex, moving card using both a lever and a slider. Well done!
