We have been reading our last Percy the Park Keeper story - The Secret Path - we have enjoyed discussing the features within the story and sharing our favourite parts.
In our literacy this week we have been writing recounts - using keywords and sounds to write simple sentences. We have then continued out work using a secret things bag - and writing captions to describe what we find.
In our maths work we have been developing our awareness of shape - creating pictures using various shapes and also finding out that some shapes can be made up of other shapes!
We have also been talking about celebrations and creating something wonderful to celebrate our parents this weekend!
After reading our new story 'The Secret Path' we visited our forest school - we went on a journey to reach it - looking for evidence of spring. We then arrived at our forest school. Lots of changes had happened and we became investigators - finding lots of minibeasts, plants and tracks!
