Homework
Literacy
This week we have continued to think about our descriptive writing. We went on a walk through the woods and thought about all the things we could see, hear and smell. Year 2's have also been looking at using similes to make their writing more exciting.
Maths
This week we have looked at solving number problems and have reminded ourselves of the rules of place value. We have also enjoyed taking part on our outdoor learning challenges.
Topic
We have moved on to our DT project and have been taste testing different fruits and vegetables. We also practiced our chopping skills. Next week we will use these skills to create our own delicious smoothies.
This week we were also visited by the Life Bus. We learned about different medicines, how to help others and enjoyed interacting with Harold the Giraffe!
