Literacy:
This week in Literacy we read our next Lighthouse Keeper story. We then decided that Hamish needed a healthy smoothie to give him energy for his adventures. The children made lists of healthy food. During DT they tasted smoothie and practiced their chopping skills. After thinking about what they could put into a smoothie they wrote instructions which they will use next week when they make their smoothie for Hamish.
Maths
This week in our maths the year 2's have been showcasing all of the skills we have been learning throughout the year by solving a range of problems. They have used jottings to support and show their workings.
The year 1's have been recapping our learning of fractions, again using jottings to support them in finding halves and quarters of amounts.
